Gene therapy to treat Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease
Using gene therapy to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This is the project led by Avrion Therapeutics AG and the Laboratory of Genetics and Neural Diseases at EPFL. Promising research is being conducted on a model organism, the Drosophila fly. This work could lead to the development of treatments for this incurable disease.
